Downtown Detroit Roller Skating Styled Elopement

I was lucky enough to attend another awesome styled shoot hosted by the fabulous Chettara T Photography in Detroit. We started off the shoot by going Downtown Detroit in what is called Parker’s Alley, where the model couple, Andi and Ryan, skated throughout. Andi has been skating for many years and Ryan picked it up within the past few years. There were also protests for Palestine going on in the city at that time, so the scene was filled with honking cars and shouting people. Andi actually has a shaved head, but Dana, the hairstylist, wanted to play with a cool wig she had, so you’ll see in some photos that Andi has pink hair as well.

We then went to grab a slice of pizza at Mootz Pizzeria which was so delicious. They offer pizza by the slice, so of course we had to grab one for Andi and Ryan. I love the little gif I made of them “cheers”-ing the pizza, taking a bite, and then doing a little dance.

We finished up by going to a downtown parking garage rooftop and playing with some Enola Gaye smoke bombs and waiting for the light to go down so we could see Andi’s neon jacket fully lit up. The two skated around and were champs with the smoke bombs! I love the pink and purple combination that we did. Then we had them walk through a yellow one like they were in a bad-ass action movie scene. Since I had a really long drive home that night, after a double header wedding weekend and then this shoot, we didn’t stay much past sundown but I think you can see how cool this jacket is from these images!
